Club Eden is a couples private event that is held at a local nightclub in an upscale hotel located in the Kansas City area. This event is for discriminating couples who either practice an alternative lifestyle or are curious, open-minded and enjoy dancing and socializing in a sensually-charged atmosphere with no pressures.

Who may attend?

Only couples and single females will be admitted to Club Eden events. No single men. Two men entering together does not constitute a couple for our purposes.

Eden Etiquette

1. DRESS CODE: Sexy, yet tasteful attire is recommended for women. No tank tops or shorts on men. No tennis shoes, torn jeans, ball caps, T-shirts (except dress tees) or sweatshirts. Exceptions to the dress code are allowed when necessary on theme nights for those who dress in theme attire.
    
2. Please treat all attendees with the utmost respect and consideration. Respect others’ privacy and be discreet. What you see or hear and where you saw it are all privileged information. Don't abuse it!
    
3. No nudity is allowed in the nightclub or surrounding public areas.
    
4. Pushy behavior will not be tolerated.
    
5. Never allow yourself to be pushed into a situation in which you are uncomfortable. A polite “no thank you” should suffice.
    
6. The use of cameras, video or recording devices of any kind is strictly prohibited.
    
7. In the unlikely event that you run into an acquaintance, it will be a surprise for both parties. The best way to handle this situation is to greet each other and have a good laugh. Often, these unexpected meetings result in great friendships.
    
8. If you reserve for an event and later discover you cannot attend, please call or e-mail and cancel your reservation. Attendees who register and then skip, without canceling, three events within a twelve-month period will not be invited back. We understand last minute cancellations and we will not count those.

Our policy: We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone without cause or explanation. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if they become obnoxious, unruly or engage in any illegal acts.

• Is Club Eden a swingers club?
  
  Yes and no. Club Eden could best be described as an alternative lifestyle dance club for couples and single women. You could use the term “swingers dance club,” but we choose not to because we don’t want it confused with the typical “swingers” clubs. 

Swingers clubs often have yearly dues and highly structured events. Some also have the reputation for being a little too high pressure for some people. Club Eden is considered to be non-structured: no name tags, house parties, contrived activities and, most importantly, no pressures. Just fun people in a fun atmosphere.

If you can imagine...A club playing popular dance music along with a dose of sensuous and sexy slow songs. A very attractive crowd of open-minded people with interests similar to yours. A little drinking, mingling, flirting and very close dancing. 

Now you have an idea of the Club Eden concept.

• Are people having sex there?

They probably are, but not in the nightclub. That’s what the hotel rooms are for. We are very strict about no nudity or sexual activity in the nightclub. However, anything that you can do in a regular dance club you can do here. So feel free to bump-n-grind and have fun.

• This is our first time at an event like this. Do you have any suggestions?

We could dedicate an entire web site to this question. Luckily, someone already did. Here is a link to SoftSWING, a site for swingers and people who are just curious. We agree with much of their advice. This is not our site and we are not responsible for any material on this site. Also, keep in mind that some of their advice refers to house parties. 

• How many people usually attend?

Between 200 and 350 people. We cut off reservations at 350 people.

• Why don’t you advertise the location?

There are two reasons for this. First, we try to restrict location information to registered attendees only. This is done for security and privacy reasons. Second, this is a private event with a controlled number of people, so we don’t allow people to walk in off the street.

• What is the average age your guests? 

To begin with, all ages are welcome at Club Eden. Guests usually range from their early 20s to their late 40s. A recent survey indicated that the average age range of attendees was in the early 30s.

• How much are the hotel rooms?

At the time this FAQ was updated, hotel room prices were $79 for a standard room. This is a deep discount from the hotel’s regular rates.

• Do we book the hotel rooms through Club Eden?

No, hotel rooms should be booked directly with the hotel. Information on how to do this will be in your invitation.
